Peruvian lawyer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, with more than ten years of experience in the dispute resolution field, particularly, in matters arising out of/ or related to concession contracts, infrastructure projects, and regulated industries(electricity and telecommunications). Currently, Emily Horna is the Head of the Litigation and Arbitration practice at Santivañez Abogados, a top-tier Peruvian law firm recognized for its expertise on regulated industries. She has taken postgraduate studies at the American University Washington College of Law and the Geneva Center for International Dispute Settlement related to
International Commercial and Investment Arbitration. Arbitrator Intelligence Ambassador for the Latin American Region (2020-2021), member of the List of Arbitrators of the Arbitration Center of Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) and regularly invited to speak in the fields of domestic arbitration and ICSID arbitration claims against the Republic of Peru. Member of Peruvian Young Arbitrators, Arbitral Women, Spanish Club of Arbitration (under 40), Young ICSID, Young ITA and Young OGEMID.
